The company Scienza, representatives of Novartis, is committed to digitalization by integrating SAP and Salesforce.

The company Scienza Uruguay, representatives of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, a world leader in research and innovation, and Nutricia AMN, is strongly committed to intelligent digitalization with the integration of its ERP SAP ECC on Hana and Salesforce’s Commerce B2B Cloud. Accompanying us in this project as implementers of the SFDC cloud is Nimacloud, a Salesforce partner since 2013 with extensive experience in the region and the United States.

One of the most common integration scenarios involves enterprise resource solutions and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, usually SAP and Salesforce, respectively.

The goal is to optimize business processes. While the leading software as a service (SaaS), Salesforce, provides a clear competitive advantage, only when properly integrated with SAP can companies streamline and automate them optimally.

Maximizing the investment in both systems

Integration is imperative in the cloud, within a master data management (MDM) strategy that enables interaction between SAP and Salesforce. This is not only for the better functioning of each system but to reach their full potential. Not in vain, integration allows us to maximize the investment made separately, ensuring that the entire company has access to timely, relevant, and reliable information.

Synchronizing data between Salesforce and SAP facilitates, for example, having the data entered in the former about a new client available at the right time for the various business functions managed by SAP.

If we create an opportunity in Salesforce, we can replicate it to SAP automatically. Thus, the data entered in Salesforce, including changes and updates, will also be reflected on-premises. In summary, we can access the value of remote data as if it were native.

Continuing with the example, if we enter the client once in Salesforce, it will automatically appear in SAP. Or, in the case of performing a credit check in SAP, having that information available when managing customer relationships.
